Ingel Rild was an Atlantean scientist and founder of the Party of Freedom, a possible precursor to the Discordian Society. As a homo neophobus, he opposed Gruad's Party of Science. His personal symbol, adapted by his party and later by the Discordian Society, was a golden apple.
His name seems to be an anagram of "Dillinger".
